Strategy Planning Office governs the Strategy development process, which includes strategy formulation, implementation and execution including strategic risk management.

The new strategy has been developed in full alignment with the government strategy (Takamul) for the years 2018-2022, and accordingly fully aligned vision has been set towards achieving the national aspirations and priorities of Bahrain Vision 2030.

Section Performance

  • Strategy planning office has successfully developed a new strategy plan in line with government strategy “Takamul”. The focus of Works Affairs strategy plan is to provide high standard services to our client (Residence of Bahrain and other government entities), as part of the execution, Works Affairs has successfully conducted strategy reviews monitoring the performance of MOW work for the year 2019. Top Management has demonstrated high level of commitment and insured the focus on achieving Works Affairs Strategy Objectives. Prioritizing the work and delivering high standard projects in Kingdom of Bahrain.

  • Government system implementation and training
    This year with the launch and successful implementation of Takamul system a Government wide strategy system, Strategy Planning section at Works Affairs has successfully conducted hands on training of Takamul system to all strategy owners, which helps strategy owners to update their performance in Takamul system as required by the Government strategy.
    Upon updating the strategy performance in Takamul system, Works affairs has achieved 89% of performance as an outcome of strategy plan and striving towards higher outcome performance to satisfy its customers and stakeholders.

  • Government System integrations
    Strategy planning section has met all the requirements of Takamul system in identifying all the necessary systems to be integrated with the Takamul system, as part of integration and alignment with the Government strategy, which may help in automating the data availability in Takamul system, the system identified mainly was PMIS system, to address the projects on time and within budget KPIs.
